Title Mindfulness- and acceptance-based interventions in children and adolescents
Description Mindfulness and acceptance-based interventions have become increasingly popular in recent years. This proseminar is devoted to the foundations and implementation of these approaches in children and adolescents. Thereby, we will focus on development-specific adaptations in different age groups, such as children, adolescents, young adults as well as their parents and on different contexts of practice, such as prevention programs in schools and psychotherapeutic interventions for mental disorders. In the proseminar, students will give input presentations on selected topics and critically discuss the current state of research based on scientific publications in small groups (similar to journal clubs). During the seminar, several scientific writing exercises will be conducted in preparation for the final seminar paper.
