Title |
Social Relationships and Health |
Description |
Social relationships are associated with better health and longevity. This seminar introduces central theoretical concepts and their current findings that can explain this connection (e.g. social isolation, social support, social control and society). Intervention approaches are also discussed.
In small groups, the students lead a session on a specific topic. In principle, active participation in the seminar and reading literature are required. |
