Title |
Neuroenhancement of Memory |
Description |
In the seminar "Neuroenhancement of Memory" of HS2024 we will investigate the effects of electrical, magnetic, pharmacological and rhythmic brain stimulation on memory. We will be interested in how stimulation can influence memory: via changes in brain structure? Via changes in the neurotransmitters? Via a change in the waves measured in the EEG? We will see that brain stimulation does not always have positive effects on memory, but can also have negative effects or no effect at all. We are therefore investigating whether inter-individual differences in the test subjects can lead to these contradictory results.
Seminar prerequisites: knowledge in psychology and neuroscience.
Ideally: completion of the minor in neuroscience |
