Title |
Loneliness: looking at a phenomenon from different perspectives |
Description |
Humans are social beings. If people feel socially isolated, this is referred to as "perceived social isolation" or "loneliness". Loneliness is often linked to various psychological or medical disorders. The seminar will examine the phenomenon of loneliness and related aspects on the basis of research literature. We will also look at interventions aimed at reducing feeling of loneliness and their effectiveness.
The seminar will be held as a face-to-face event. |
