Promote professional development and positive work experiences |
| Description |
The lecture is compulsory for all students in the first semester of the Master's programme with the main/ or supplementary module Industrial and Organisational Psychology. Building on knowledge from the Bachelor's programme, central topics of occupational, personnel and organisational psychology are presented in depth. Topics covered include: Career choice and development, human resource development; work motivation; work performance; older workers; work-family interaction. Additional topics will be covered in Advanced Lecture "work, organization and health" in the spring semester.
The lecture will be held virtually as a flipped classroom. Podcasts on the lecture topics and content are provided on ILIAS. There will be 10 live online events via Zoom during regular lecture time. In addition, four face-to-face events will be held on-site in Bern during regular lecture hours. |
