Title Adaptability in working life: An applied research seminar
Description Due to the increasing dynamism and uncertainty in today's world of work as a result of technological developments, digitalization, global markets and demographic changes, adaptability in working life is becoming increasingly important. In this seminar, the scientific foundations for understanding adaptability in working life are developed. Various concepts of adaptability as well as empirical research on the conditions and consequences of adaptability are discussed.

In addition to the scientific foundations, the seminar focuses on the active implementation of a research process. Students independently develop research questions, conduct data collection and data analysis, and write a scientific paper on the study conducted. In addition, the seminar covers important basics for planning and conducting research projects and writing scientific articles.

The seminar includes various activities, consisting of input presentations, group presentations, individual exercises, and written work. There will be face-to-face events, independent group work (within and outside the seminar dates) and supplementary online meetings.

Seminar topics include:
- Different concepts of adaptability in working life
- Current research findings on the conditions and consequences of adaptability in working life
- Fundamentals of planning and conducting studies, including open science practices
- Writing a scientific article
- Presenting research and study results
