Title Psychological Research: From Ideas to Publications
Description Scientific publications generate knowledge that can have a lasting impact on our society for generations. But are published research conclusions always adequate, incontestable and solid? The seminar offers ‘hands-on’ training in the critical analysis of current (psychological) research. Specifically, students will learn the tools to quickly and thoughtfully evaluate scientific research instead of accepting publications without question. This knowledge can be directly applied by the students by allowing them to reduce errors and inconsistencies in their own research work (e.g. Master’s thesis).
